We were very kindly gifted the Kayleigh Wooden Floor Lamp from Pagazzi’s Design Signature Collection, and it’s the perfect finishing touch for our space.
Super quick and easy to install, beautiful quality, and it’s instantly warmed up the room 🤍

A soft end to 2025 and a slow, restful start to 2026. Snow days, good food, baking, board games and lots of time at home with family and friends. Exactly what we needed.
Feeling rested and ready for what’s to come. Plenty planned this year — more renovations and hopefully giving the vestibule, lounge and second bedroom some love.🤞🏽
And this year we’re getting married. Here’s to a beautiful year ahead.🤍
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year ✨
Feels so special✨
The Marietta Antique Brass & Glass Pendant Ceiling Light from is the perfect centrepiece.
Would you take on a chandelier with this many pieces?

These full-length, chocolate-brown curtains from (thermal-lined and so beautifully made) hug the bay window perfectly. I wish you could feel the quality through the phone — they’re dreamy.
Paired with their ‘Country Home Glastonbury’ wallpaper, the whole room feels like the most luxurious, cosy space.
Feeling unbelievably lucky and grateful for this collaboration and how it’s all come together.
We can’t wait to keep working with this wonderful, family-run business. 🤎
Now just the final wall to paper and its complete - 200 year old not so straight walls and wallpaper is not an easy task!🤩🤭

A little patience, a lot of glass, and the most elegant glow.
These wall lights from were surprisingly easy to install, and the layered glass creates the most timeless, dramatic finish.
Next up… the chandelier✨
At the beginning of October, I removed all the rubble, laid grass seed, and crossed everything in the hope that it would grow.
Tom was very reluctant to spend any time on the front garden until we could dig it all out properly and lay turf — but I was fed up of looking at the big patch of mud in front of our house. We have such a beautiful home, and that muddy patch really ruined its charm.
Despite everyone doubting it would grow, I had looked at the forecast and saw that October was due to stay mild — prime grass-growing weather, even if a bit unseasonal.
So I seeded, watered, and hoped it wouldn’t end up being a failed experiment that proved Tom right.🫣
A couple of weeks later, little green shoots started to appear, and before long we were on the road to a real lawn. There were a few bare patches, so I added more seed, and now we have luscious green grass!!!
Out of all the projects we’ve tackled so far, this one might just be my proudest. Our tiny patch of grass — my little passion project — makes the front of our home look complete. 🌱✨🫶🏼
On 28th March, we started stripping wallpaper in this little room — only to find it had been decorated exactly 25 years earlier to the DAY👀 how weird!! They also wrote their shopping list of how much rolls of paper they needed in January 2000.
Then we found the heights of their kids marked on the wall with dates — such a sweet little slice of history. It’s got us thinking we definitely want to mark our own names on the living room wall before it gets covered up again.🤭
Since then, we’ve completed multiple other rooms (and even repaired the roof after discovering a leak post-decorating of this room), but it’s finally ready for its debut.
We made the desk by pairing a simple worktop with IKEA drawers, both practical and budget-friendly, and added some beautiful blinds from Blinds Direct. We also upcycled a mirror we already had, and swapped out the radiator for something sleek but keeping things feeling traditional. The sofa bed ticks both the vibe and functionality boxes — win win.🤩
This space will be perfect for working from home, studying, and doubling up as a spare bedroom for guests.
One day, we’ll get a plasterer in to give these walls some much-needed TLC. For now, they’re primed bare plaster and lathe, giving major shaggy chic energy but it works.
And honestly, it’s a million times better than before. Swipe for the befores🫣🫢😬

From lilac walls, floral curtains and pink carpet... to a calm, farmhouse-meets-scandi style that finally feels like us.
We’ve brought back some of the home’s original character with a new chandelier and ceiling rose, and turned the original Aberdeen press into a little corner for all things makeup, hair and perfume.
We gave the original pine furniture a second life with some upcycling, added an ottoman bed for extra storage, and laid warm wooden flooring throughout. The addition of a blackout blind means long, peaceful weekend lie-ins (needed).
We can’t wait to get into bed tonight!🤣☁️💤
