We go to Beasley’s Orchard every year and it’s one of our favorite summer traditions—such an easy outing with kids and so fun to do together.
If you’re planning a visit, here’s everything to know before you go:
📍Location:
Danville, Indiana (less than 30 mins from Indianapolis)
🍓 U-Pick Details:
• Season typically kicks off mid-May (starting May 12 this year)
• 8 acres of strawberries to pick from
• $5.79 per pound
• Buckets are provided (and reusable for future visits!)
🚜 How it works:
• Follow signs for strawberry picking when you arrive
• Tractor ride is required to get to the fields (no walking access)
• Grab your bucket + pick at your own pace
⏰ Hours:
• Entry to the fields ends at 5:00 PM
• Last tractor ride goes out at 5:00 PM
• Fields close by 6:00 PM
👉 Go earlier in the day for the best berries + cooler temps
📝 Know before you go:
• FREE parking on-site
• No pets allowed in the fields
• If you ride out but don’t pick, there’s a $5 field fee
