Happy birthday to the love of my life ♡
These past few years have tested everything, our faith, our strength, our marriage, and our hope. We’ve walked through silence, unanswered prayers, and moments that made us wonder if we’d ever get to share this kind of news.

Both of us grew up without fathers. That ache runs deep. And yet, here we are, watching my husband prepare to become the very thing he never had. A present, loving, protective father. It’s breaking generational pain, and it’s sacred.

This journey hasn’t been easy. But somehow, in the middle of it all, God didn’t forget us. He was writing a quiet story of redemption behind the scenes.

We’re still praying every day for a healthy baby and healthy pregnancy, we’re holding on to this miracle with grateful, trembling hands.

Happy Father’s Day and thank you God for everything you do for us.

Thanksgiving 2024🦃🍁

We decided to switch things up this year and make chicken instead of turkey! Most of the Thanksgiving food is prepared by Ross since I didn’t grow up eating traditional Thanksgiving dishes—and honestly, I’ve never been the biggest fan of them.

That said, over the years, we’ve found ways to make it less “generic” and more our style. While I still don’t care for pies, stuffing, ham, or turkey, I do like candied yams, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and the peach cobbler my husband makes from scratch. It’s a game changer!

What about you—what’s your favorite Thanksgiving dish? And what’s your least favorite?
