Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption

This has become one of my favorite basilicas in America. Absolutely spectacular.

Personal vocation and economic freedom are at the core of any good society. Collectivism attacks both.
Improve free markets and educate people on how to best utilize them for their own benefit. Rejecting the system entirely is historical amnesia and a willful forgetting of the failure and poverty that always trail behind promised “progress” and “equality.”

A year of adventure, beauty, faith, and friendship.
Merry Christmas
The group included Protestants, recent converts, and young adults currently journeying through OCIA, many of whom have been openly documenting their exploration of Catholicism on TikTok and Instagram.
Their time in Baltimore was part of a Feed-My-Faith “Meet-and-Seek” pilgrimage led and sponsored by Father Leo Patalinghug, a priest, chef, and founder of Plating Grace, a faith and food movement dedicated to feeding people body, mind, and soul.
As Father Leo watched a growing number of young people share their curiosity about Catholicism online, he felt called to offer something more than digital engagement.
Rather than responding through content and apologetics, he believed these seekers needed an encounter.
He invited 12 pilgrims—intentionally mirroring the 12 apostles—to come to Baltimore and experience the Church through sacred sites, prayer, and fellowship with one another.
Over several days, the group traveled through some of the most historically and spiritually significant Catholic sites in the United States.
They prayed at the Basilica and National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, visited the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, the National Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, St. Mary’s Seminary, and more.
At each site, Father Leo brilliantly shared theological insights that helped bring a deeper understanding of the Church’s teachings and history.
As the pilgrimage unfolded, the Church revealed herself not simply as history, but as a living, breathing Body of Christ.
The pilgrims prayed together, asked questions freely, attended Mass (with Father Leo offering teaching throughout the liturgy), and gathered around the table to share stories and strengthen one another’s faith. Some of those meals were shared at Fr. Leo’s own restaurant, The Gastro Social, in Baltimore’s Little Italy.

After spending a few years learning the ins and outs of the creator economy, I jumped into content creation and strategy with music artists. It was fun and I loved it, but I felt a pull to go in a different direction.
I wanted to use social media not just to entertain, but to lead people towards a deeper purpose.
I began focusing on faith-based creators and Catholic organizations—voices I believed could speak to a world hungry for meaning.
Almost immediately, I saw the need. Many of these voices had powerful messages but lacked the digital support to share them widely. Within a few months, I was working with some of the most impactful leaders and apostolates in the Church.
This month, my agency, Social Thomist, turns 3 years old.
We’ve had the privilege of working with some of the greatest clients I could ever ask for: Msgr. Stephen Rossetti, Fr. Dan Reehil, the Napa Institute, Fr. Leo Patalinghug, The Exorcist Files, Kim Zember, and many more.
In that time, I have had the most incredible experiences:
I’ve traveled to 17 countries.
Met Church leaders from around the world.
Had morning tea with the Dahlia Lama in India.
Spent time in Rome during Sede Vacante.
Visited some of the holiest sites in all of Christendom.
Met top American politicans.
Collaborated with major news outlets.
We’ve helped build social media accounts with content that has reached hundreds of millions. But more important than the numbers are the people. Thousands who have written in to say the content helped them find healing, return to the Church, or encounter God.
This work has shaped me too. It’s deepened my love for the Church and shown me how digital media, when used well, can truly serve people.
Working with these ministries and traveling the world has changed me.
I’m grateful for what these last three years have been—and excited for what’s ahead as Social Thomist continues to help evangelize the digital continent.
I’m so grateful and excited for the many adventures to come.
