I made a decision last night to get up and walk at sunrise. 🌅 When the alarm went off this morning, I began to make a case for sleeping in- telling myself: “it doesn’t matter when you walk, you can do it later…You’re tired 🥱. Stay here a little longer. You can try again tomorrow” I stopped, realized I was making a case against the action I had previously decided would lead me forward and closer to my goals. Sure, all those things I reasoned, to defended my desire to sleep in, were true. They weren’t the whole truth. The truth was I had already decided. I was going to get up and walk. Done. That was the true, too. And that’s the truth I chose to mind this morning.
