Pico do Arieiro is definitely busier at sunrise (and it’s beautiful), and sunset is a lot calmer (but then you won’t be able to do the whole hike). It’s one of the most beautiful places in Madeira so personally I would visit for both! 🌅 sunset at Pico Ruivo is also a must do!
