I recently flew to Queenstown IRL (as a passsenger ofc 😭) and the approach blew my mind! Surrounded by mountains on both sides, queenstown sits in a valley shadowed by the aptly named remarkables mountain range. It’s an approach that must be incredible to witness from the flight deck!

Today I flew LATAM 3809 out of Sao Paulo into Santos Dumont, an airport in Brazil notable for having an INCREDIBLE approach into a TINY runway. I flew into runway 20L which seems to the be the easier approach compared to flying into 02R (thats also more epic)
