Hello hello 👋🏽 I seem to be in a habit of not being very present for extended periods and for that I can only apologise!

Pregnancy hit me harder than I ever thought it would - both physically and mentally. I am so close to the finish line now and I know that a whole new, life changing and challenging adventure starts then so it’s not exactly going to be peace and quiet, but I have to say I’m looking forward to having them physically here rather than the second guessing and worrying whilst they’re in my stomach!

I’ve had reduced movement quite a few times and luckily it’s always been fine but it is so worrying when it happens. The midwives and other brilliant people I’ve dealt with in the NHS have never been anything but totally amazing when I’ve gone up there which I’m so grateful for. I’ve always worried I’m wasting their time when everything’s been fine or that they’ll think ‘oh god not her again’ but actually, it’s always been the total opposite.

There is so much to do in preparation for a baby that I feel like my life revolves around a never ending to do list at the moment, mixed with a very anxious, never resting brain. I find myself laying wide awake at 3am very often, mind going a million miles an hour, emailing myself things I need to do the next day so I don’t forget them which is very counterproductive to trying to get back to sleep!

All in all though, amidst the anxiety, the physical discomfort, the worrying…is joy everytime I feel their little (actually not so little anymore - pretty bloody strong 😂) kicks and punches and rolls, and excitement to meet them (I say them because we don’t know the gender not because it’s twins by the way!) and find out who they are. I hope that they’re as happy that I’m their mum, as I am to be it 🤍
📍 Botanica, South Lodge

(AD PR Visit) I was kindly invited to to try out their Botanica restaurant for lunch which I was thrilled about as I last visited South Lodge quite a few years ago for afternoon tea which I’ve never forgotten about as it was SO good!

Botanica honestly exceeded all expectations. There was a really lovely, chilled vibe in there which I wasn’t expecting on a weekend! The service was impeccable and the food was fantastic. We had bread with olive oil and balsamic to start, Breaded Plaice with Romesco Sauce and Pork Belly each for main, and we both couldn’t resist the Honey Cake for dessert which came with butterscotch sauce and poached pears! Every single dish tasted perfect, and it was such a lovely setting.

Genuinely could not fault the entire experience or meal - I’d really recommend visiting if you’re in the area! Currently seeing if we can squeeze in a South Lodge stay pre-baby as seeing people eating in their spa robes made me very jealous 😂
A new favourite Brighton breakfast👌🏽

📍Starfish & Coffee, Brighton

A 10/10 full English and I’ve heard amazing things about the pancakes at too! We’ve been a couple of times since last year and thoroughly impressed every time. Located next to Queens Park 🙌🏽
Instagram, meet bump 🤍
A little round up of my current beauty favourites!

- Born This Way The Natural Nudes - I love the shades in this eyeshadow palette. It’s the perfect choice for if you only want one eyeshadow palette for everything. Suitable for daytime subtle looks, and a range of shimmers if you want a statement eye for the evening. Pigmented and blend really well!

- Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher in ‘Love Is The Drug’ - I love these blushers and I finally found the perfect shade for my skin tone. A subtle pink for my cheekbones and then the bright pop of pink for the apples of my cheeks - really brightens up my makeup.

- Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Mascara is the best mascara I’ve used in a long time. The closest thing to looking like I have fake lashes on. Lengthens and thickens without looking clumpy.

- Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel in ‘Soft Brunette’ is all I’m using on my brows currently. Gives that fluffy, brown laminated effect with low effort.

- Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser is my favourite high street cleanser. Great for my sensitive skin, doesn’t break me out and leaves my face feeling properly cleanser after and is a great price.

- Effaclar Duo + is my holy grail moisturiser right now. When I first fell pregnant my skin went wild and this really calmed it down, doesn’t irritate or cause any redness and sits brilliantly under makeup.

- Self Tan Foam in Medium is my new favourite fake tan. Gives you an instant natural bronzed colour which is perfect for a last minute tanning session, great smell and not patchy. Wish I’d tried it sooner!

- Deodrant - I love the concept and subscription style service. The deodorant really does work and is good for you and the environment. I use Cotton & Sea Salt scent and it smells dreamy!

- Dream Coat Supernatural Spray is worth the hype. I’m about to buy the full size as the smaller has impressed me so much. It has totally transformed the frizzy flyaways I used to get after washing my hair, gives me a shine and just makes those sleek buns so much easier.

Hope you liked this beauty round up! 💕
I have not been able to stop thinking about this breakfast for weeks!

📍 Daylesford Farm, Cotswolds

If you’re heading to the Cotswolds or passing by, I couldn’t recommend a stop at enough. It’s filled with the most incredible food and drink, homeware, bits for the garden and you can also stop for something to eat! It’s one of my favourite places 🥓🍳🍅
📍 Nowhere Man, Brighton

A few weeks ago we went for breakfast at in Brighton as after finding them on Instagram, I was literally drooling at the photos 🤤

I honestly couldn’t fault them! I had chocolate (obviously) with a side of strawberries to make me feel better about myself! They were fluffy and soft, the toppings were incredible and I’ve pretty much dreamt about them ever since so get yourself down there if you’re a fellow pancake lover 😍

P.S. you can’t book, it’s walk ins only - so try and get down there for opening!
Hi everyone…apologies for the radio silence 👋🏽 the truth is I’ve been working on a little project behind the scenes for quite some time now…and it’s nearing completion very soon 🐣🤍
Only about a month late…but here’s some snippets of our trip to NYC ☁️🫶🏽
📍Cyan, Brighton

(AD PR) A few weeks ago we visited for a Sunday roast and can honestly say we were so impressed! Big portions, delicious flavours and one of my most important factors - perfect thick gravy! You can get a roast dinner and a pudding for £22 per person which is brilliant value especially in such a lovely restaurant situated in The Grand. Would really recommend giving it a try 🍗🥕 Let me know your thoughts!
