As an ex-soldier myself the "Poppy" means to me, remembering my brothers-in-arms that have fallen in recent conflicts.
Granted, I wish there wasn't such a thing as Remembrance Day, but unfortunately necessary evils have been needed to bring freedom and democracy to many in the world.
We ALL have the right to have these values and many of my friends have died or have been injured trying to protect those exact values for everyone.
