It’s now getting easier every day, and the bond it’s forming between us is something I’ll always treasure. Please, if you’re a mother and you’re experiencing something similar, even if you’re bottle feeding or formula feeding and feeling any negative type of way, just cancel out all that BS noise out there. Do what feels best for you and your baby.
I don’t know how much I will share about motherhood on here, and the same goes for Yara, and how much of her we’ll post online. My husband and I will decide together what feels right, as we go.
There’s also a huge topic I want to talk about which makes everything else seem so insignificant. Becoming a mother has given me a boost of confidence surrounding my voice. I want Yara to know her mother knew to speak up, and that her opinion matters. In the past I’ve shied away from discussing world events on my platforms - and I regret that now.
The tragedies in Gaza are all the more hard hitting now not to speak. Normally my excuse would be that being a small creator, my opinion wouldn’t make a difference. That what I felt inside or acted upon outside, in the real world, was enough.
Today I want to make my voice heard and let it be known exactly what I think. For my daughter. As I sit here feeding her, consciously consuming the atrocities going on so far away, holding her that bit tighter.

Our little girl Yara was born on the morning of the 24/06/25 - changing our lives forever.
There is now only life before and after you, our 🌍.
