Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of cooking with for the annual BBQ open day 🙌🏼 the woodfired outdoor cooking unit is a serious bit of kit, it was so much fun to grill on!
We used the plancha to grill our cheese skirt, beef fat dipped corn tacos, loaded with ex-dairy Beef Birria and Salsa Roja 🌮
And reverse seared huge cote de boufe and tomahawks from to serve up beef fat flatbreads, harissa yogurt, charred sweetcorn and jalapeño salsa 🥙
Cannot wait to get cooking on that grill again, it’s a game changer 🔥

This has to be one of the biggest highlights of my life, getting to share our Bab Haus story at our new site and show a bit of our family journey with you all, family and food is the heart of what we do, getting to see my mum on screen making her Tahdig (I didn’t come out perfect but she was such a natural in front of the camera 🤣) and my amazing brother getting the recognition he deserves for his years of mastering Persian BBQ, he’s the best and if you know you know ❤️🔥❤️❤️🔥

We were incredibly lucky to have the brilliant come to film us at our site in last summer, part of their final food tour and series The Hairy Bikers Go West.
I’m sure there’s loads of hidden out-takes and footage that won’t be shown because we had an absolute ball with Dave and Si, we just couldn’t stop laughing, it’s one of the best moments and memories of my life.
It was wonderfully surreal having grown up watching on TV, to have them in my kitchen, cooking for them and talking about our food, words can’t describe.
