Today we made homemade pastéis using Walmart egg roll wrappers (don’t tell my Brazilian family 😂).
We made:
🤍 Ham & mozzarella
🩷 Guava paste & cream cheese
Recipe:
• Egg roll wrappers

• Water for sealing
Fill, seal with a fork, and fry at 350°F until golden and crispy.

We finally made it to and now I understand why people keep recommending it.
The sandwiches were so good, the fries stayed crispy (which honestly deserves an award 😂), and the malasadas disappeared in about 30 seconds once the kids opened the box.
One of my favorite things about living here is finding local places like this and making memories together as a family. ❤️
