Sorry, but I beg to differ. During my week in the Falklands, I spent literally HOURS observing Gentoo penguin colonies on three different islands - Carcass, Bleaker and Sea Lion. Ok, they may lack the debonair look of King and the vivacity of Rockhopper penguins, but I loved looking at them surf, walk up and down the beach, feed their chicks, play, and interact with one another.

Gentoo penguins are the third largest penguin species, after Emperor and King, and the fastest swimmers, reaching up to 35 km/h. Not boring at all 😍🐧
