We stayed, then spent the day such a great spot for kids.
The museum is completely hands-on and play-based, with interactive galleries where kids can climb and explore, pretend-play in a child-sized town, build and create in STEAM-focused spaces, and really let their imaginations run. Ours were fully engaged the whole time, which is always a win.
Having a family-friendly hotel paired with kid-approved attractions close by made the whole weekend feel easy. Less time driving, more time actually enjoying it together.
