Located on The Shore, is a Pan-Asian restaurant serving bold, punchy flavours with a creative East Asian twist. The kind of place where sharing is encouraged and ordering “just one more” is inevitable.
It’s owned by three sisters, the team behind Mimi’s Bakehouse, and named after Nami, meaning “feminine wave”. A nod to both the women leading the space and its waterside setting by the Water of Leith.
Now as a girl who gets I’m a girl that gets order anxiety (worries I’Il not pick the best dishes and get food envy),but our waitress Kirsty was so lovely at guiding us through the menu &... I had already hit up for her top picks (this girl knows her food)

I’ve just checked into a Georgian townhouse in Edinburgh’s coolest neighbourhood, and this stay has completely confirmed that Leith is the place to be.
[PR stay] I stayed at The Townhouse Leith, a family-run boutique aparthotel set inside a beautifully restored Georgian townhouse, with just eight uniquely designed suites. It blends period character with modern, home-from-home comfort in the most relaxed, unfussy way.
Leith is one of Edinburgh’s most stylish and distinctive neighbourhoods right now. Once a historic port, it’s now known for its creative energy, relaxed waterfront setting and incredible food scene. You’re just a short walk from The Shore, lined with independent cafés, cosy wine bars and some of the city’s best restaurants, and new independents are constantly popping up.
Despite the village-like feel, it’s incredibly well connected. The Shore tram stop is a short walk away, making it easy to get into the city centre, the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle, then come back to somewhere calmer and more local.
We stayed in the Robertson Suite, which had a four-poster bed, a bath and walk-in shower, a fully equipped kitchen and dining space, plus on-site laundry facilities, which is such a bonus if you’re travelling hand luggage only or staying a bit longer.
If you’re wondering where to stay in Edinburgh and want somewhere characterful, stylish and genuinely cool, this is exactly where I’d recommend.

has been high on my Edinburgh coffee shops hit list ever since that viral porridge moment shared by and honestly it’s 100% worth the hype.
The coffee was excellent and do not sleep on the toasties. They also do half portions which is a dangerous (but elite) option if you’re indecisive like me and want to order half the menu… and trust me, you will 😮💨
One thing I loved most is that they stock so many incredible Scottish brands from cookbooks by Scottish authors to pickles, sauces and even socks. Coffee stop and lifestyle shop? Say less.
