This is the smallest room and packs the biggest punch. It had two different looks before I transformed it into this in 2021 for my third baby and now it belongs to my fourth daughter.

I took on this diy room transformation in the later stages of pregnancy, making my own panelling, upcycling the vintage furniture and decorating the whole nursery myself.

Deciding on a colour scheme and style for a baby / toddler bedroom can be difficult. If you struggle, try picking one decor item and taking inspiration from that. For me it was a colourful wooden rainbow.

There’s no natural light in here so I tested a lot of greens before finding the right one that would work well in artificial light. I went for colour drenching this whole space with no contrasting areas so your eyes can relax and invoke a feeling of calm.
