Hello, hello, hello!
I am very excited to announce that I am gonna start planning trips and adventures soon! I need to get away so bad, but, who doesn’t, you know?
I really wish I could explore Asia soon, but, too many restrictions are still on going😭. I’ll save it for the end of summer and the end of the year.
During this summer I will have work, but, will definitely try to squeeze in some small getaway around Europe. I am thinking of Denmark, Ireland, Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and/or Cyprus. I want to get out of Italy. Done with staycations, time to fly far away!!! ✈️✈️✈️

This is tram 28 which is probably the most famous tour in Lisbon. It’s a vintage yellow tram that crosses the city centre, passing by many of Lisbon’s main attractions. You can purchase the ticket onboard or in advance from any metro station. To avoid tourist crowds, jump on the first stop, Martin Moniz, first thing in the morning at around 7 or 8 ( during this timeframe there is one tram every 10 minutes). Seats are not very comfortable and watch for pickpocketers.

Let’s just say that there has been a lot of going on in my life that needed more attention. In the next post I will talk about it.
It has been a draining time for almost everyone, but, hey, remember this: life is not easy at all. There is gonna be challenges and you are gonna get beat down and that tough situation is making you wanna stop and you will fail sometimes, but, that’s ok, as long as you get up, take the next step and keep moving forward and, no matter what, do not quit. There is no such thing as tomorrow. We only got today. And, that’s what I pursued these past 5 months off the gram.

📍I took these portraits at “boschetto della Playa”, located in the northeast side of the Catania beaches. It is now an environmentally protected area, after a long period of degradation and abandonment. You wil find an artificial lake and lots of Maritime Pines and Eucalyptus trees which is what is left by the Ancient Romans that used to get this wood to build their boats. It is a great spot for jogging, relax and picnics.

➡️Here is my current situation⬅️
Italy is on a second lockdown. Some regions are more restricted than others. Sicily is in semi lockdown. Many facilities are closed (gyms, theaters, pool, restaurants). I had to shut down the bar. Curfew is from 2200 to 0500. You are not allowed to leave your city to go to another one, unless needed. People is protesting everywhere because we don’t get any real economic support from the Government besides false hopes and fakes promises.
I will be home for a while. I will try and take care of my soul as much as I can. I will focus on my travel projects. I will keep it positive. And be a couch potato, why not? 😅🥴. I deserve it!

•I got this traveling addiction since I was a troddler, my parents used to take me everywhere.
•my first solo trip abroad was in Paris and I was 17.
• I go underwater since I was 5. My favorite water game was to hold my breath and see how long I could last.
My dad literally threw me in the water to teach me how to swim! 🏊♀️ At the sweet age of 11 I was in open water with him already. I used to swim with a knife attached in one hip and a bag in the other one going fishing for sea urchins under the cliffs somewhere around Pachino, in Siracusa.
• I lost my mother 10 years ago and my life hasn’t been the same ever since.
• I had to count on my own since I was very young. I gained my mental strength trough deep pain and dark moments. And i am proud of that. I feel like invincible, today.💪!
•I had a bad luck in romance life. 💔
I was married to who I believed he was the love of my life once and I used to live between California and Italy. After that, I had a couple of serious relationships ended up bad.
• I would like to have a child someday, to feel complete as a woman.

Last September I flew to Croatia and spent one day in the magical Krka National Park. It was a cheap and quick trip from Split (30 something 💶). This place is pure nature and the water is super cold😍🌲❤️.
Oh, do you know that this is the only National Park where you can actually swim by the falls? But, if you are around, use the opportunity to go for a swim.. starting 2021 it will be forbidden!!
This September is not the best so far, with my health issues. 🥺😫Docs 👨⚕️ 👩⚕️ keep on telling me to take meds, but, they don’t understand that, in order to get better, all I need is to buy a plane ticket ✈️ 🎫.. for that reason.. I am trying to plan another solo adventure soon. VERY SOON.

Here i was wandering the streets of Malta a month ago (for my 7th time!!).

Wanna know 3 fun facts about Malta?
✅It is a popular filming location for big-budget productions (Game of Thrones, Gladiator etc etc).
✅It is so small that give tourists the impression that all the Maltese know each other
✅Most of the Maltese people speak 3 languages, fluently: English, Maltese and.. Italian!!

Can you travel Malta on a budget?✈️💰
Although i am a firm believer that every destination has a way to be cheaper, Malta will never break your budget.
Cost of living is lower than much of Europe. Transportation is great. You can rent a car for 20€ a day. Buses are super cheap (even if their time schedule is not always reliable)and taxis are not that bad either. You can also use “Cool”, which is a local Uber, download the app and you are good to go. About food and drinks, I can spend 20€, drinks included, and still manage to eat like a 🐖 at a buffet or get a glass of Chardonnay for 2.95 € at a local pub. You will find higher prices in tourist areas such as St. Julians and Sliema’s boardwalk.
Accommodations are not bad at all. I usually stay in a 4* stars hotel with breakfast included for 3 days 2 nights and spend less than 200€ even during high season. If you are staying in a hostel or budget hotel, pick one that includes free breakfast, to lower your expenses.
If you combine warm weather, lots of history, a crazy nightlife, incredible beaches and landscapes, Malta is one of the best destinations to visit in Europe if you are looking to save money!

Guys!! Where did the summer go? It all went by so very fast. It seems like yesterday that we were on lockdown!
3 months and 2020 is over! Can’t wait, to be quite honest! It was awful, for everyone.
I just hope that i will get the chance to go back and explore some Asian countries by the end of the year! The Philippines is my number one dream destination. Too many travel plans cancelled so far, no bueno!
