Every year, the saline wetlands of Sambhar become a sanctuary for lakhs of migratory flamingos. I’ve returned to Sambhar Lake year after year to capture the salt pans and the flamingos, but nature finally decided to display something magical.
A colony of lakhs of flamingos, perfectly aligned into the silhouette of a single giant one. Sometimes, you just have to be patient enough for the earth to paint its own portrait.

This hidden gem has been one of my absolute favorite places to visit, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a break from monotony.
You know whats so different about this place? It's how the Buddhist and Hindu traditions just blend so well. And then when you look around; a river, a spot that feels like a private beach, a huge waterfall coming out of a glacier and a calm lake, all with the huge Pin Parvati peaks as a backdrop.
Keeping the wonderful people of Himachal & Uttarakhand in my thoughts and prayers for their safety and strength this monsoon.

With the iconic monument as a silent witness in the background, local children play freely and shepher families graze their goats near the Mehtab Bagh. These apricot blossoms are seriously stealing the show right now in the upper himalayan regions of Himachal Pradesh. It's like a pink and white dream against those epic mountains. To add to these, the apple trees will also get loaded with flowers in a couple of weeks and the valley will turn completely white.
Fun fact: These flowers don't stick around for long, so catching them is kind of special. Makes you appreciate things a little more.
