As you can see, I originally started with a completely different idea in mind, but I didn’t like how it was turning out, it felt soulless to me. So I decided to take a totally different approach. My idea was a foal that is also a star seed, or a nebula filled with newborn stars, and I’m really happy with how it turned out 😊

I’ve also attached the reference photo I used so you can see that, for me, references are just guides, I never follow them 100%. I change the pose or details whenever necessary to match the feeling I’m looking for.
