Viele Künstlerinnen, Künstler und Bands geben dem schwelgerischen Discokugel-Sound des besten Jahrzehnts aller Zeiten ein Makeover und verhelfen Post-Punk, New Wave sowie Synthpop damit dieser Tage zu einer zweiten Jugend. Temmis sind seit ihrer Single „Wenn du da bist“ von der gleichnamigen EP bei diesem Revival ganz vorne mit dabei. Die Band aus Tübingen kreuzt den tanzbaren Clubsound von damals mit modernen DIY-Produktionsmöglichkeiten, addieren düstere Vocals sowie technoide Arrangements, die unmittelbar in die Beine gehen und runden das Ganze mit cleverer Selbstironie ab.
Das funktioniert so gut und klingt so tight eingespielt, dass es verwundern muss, wie die Band diesen Style-Stunt quasi aus dem Stegreif realisiert. Ein Spaßprojekt, das sich anschickt, der Generation Z einen Coming-Of-Age-Soundtrack zu schenken. Wer weiß also, wozu sie live noch so alles imstande sind.
