There is no better way I could have asked to start the 2026 with a wonderful human, in the backcountry, the very best conditions and amazing weather a girl could have asked for. Big shoutout to for all the laughs, patience, and good memories.

This traverse (cross between two peaks), then loop back to TH, was an incredible fun day and one of my top 5. The route features mostly solid rock, with occasional patches of kitty litter, some bushy bits, and healthy exposure. The crux is an exposed 4th class downclimb along an arete, with lots of cruisy 2nd and 3rd class scramble, one of many slab with a fixed line (triple check condition) where some rappel down, and following a striking ridgeline up to the final peak.
Was it the hardest one this season? Absolutely not, but itโs truly the company you share these memories with and how much fun to get to your objective. High max dopamine. And burgers post were the cherry on top. Side note; if you donโt have friends that hype you up like the video on #3, I hope you find some.
This traverse is considered difficult and a demanding route that requires experience with scrambling, navigation, and exposure to heights. Reviewing trip reports and checking current conditions are highly recommended before attempting the Traverse.

We started the trek at 1:45am Saturday. Hiked under the stars, transitioning to crampons and rope to cross late season glacier, scrambled to the summit with a couple crux, 3 rappels on the way down, and finishing at 10:00pm after sunset.
This one was physically exhausting but just like any adventure the people really make the adventure memorable! ๐ซถ๐ผ such a solid crew.
