If you look closely, theirs a moon painted across her face, while her hair flows like molten lava.
She is such a great charcater from Sacrificers written by, one of my favourite modern comics aesthetically and narratively.
I really recommend it if you enjoy darker fantasy worlds with rich visual storytelling.

I created this story when I was 16. At the time, so much of my life revolved around choreography and dance. I was never much of a dancer myself, but I loved watching the beauty, rhythm and discipline in every movement…as though it were somehow tuned to the universe itself.
I used to imagine: if she truly understood the waves of energy flowing, then perhaps, with enough practice, she could break through the limits of time… and through precise movement, even glimpse the many futures that bind us all.
That’s how alive it felt to me… and of course, from that feeling, a story was born. 🥰
Ariadnee is the secondary character, and in the end, the only true Yah’taii left standing…
This artwork was also a colour study inspired by the outstanding photography of Amanda Diaz! 🙌

Since I can remember I was always fiercely attracted to hardcore female figures, Lieutenant Ripley (Alien), Sarah Connor (Terminator), (Lieutenant Jordan O’Neil (J.I Jane), Leeloo Dallas (5th Element) Alice (Resident Evil), Aeon Flux, Storm, Dark Phoenix, Michonne (Walking dead)… I was also very inspired by female revolutionaries, brave independent women who had dreams beyond imagination, and changed the corse of history, Marie Curie, Queen Elizabeth I, The Red queen of Palenque Tz’akbu Ajaw, Hua Mulan, Boudicca, Mary Shelly… and so many more!
They became my mentors, my guides; I would read about them, study them, watch movies of them; write stories and create characters inspired by them, they motivated my every day, when training, when moments where the hardest I had them, through childhood, my teens, and onto today,
Iv always believed that I could chose who influences me, my surroundings would not determine who I was, ore who I would become, there was no limits if I believed.
Though Art and storytelling I create characters who motivate me in this same way. And hopefully this same feeling translates, and is able to inspire others too, to be their fiercest, and to above all adversity, to never give up!

My Illustrations are based on the conceptualization and diversity of the human figure within the spectrum of fantastic and esoteric reality, emphasizing towards the beauty, strength and the strangeness of the ancestral and unknown, into futuristic dystopias, forgotten tribes, powerful and inspiring, gods and warriors, hi tech & machines, inter-dimensional beings, created into post-apocalyptic realities within other worlds and ours.
I merge both the power and richness of the traditions and cosmology brought from my Mexican ancestry with the myths and legends from the old wolrd through my European heritage, Translating them into new powerful themes of futuristic reversion.
