In 2009, the Chiefs took 4 weeks to hire Todd Haley... and if they delayed in 2012, Andy Reid was on his way to Arizona to coach the Cardinals... a 7 year deal was on the table.
Luckily Clark Hunt did the most epic thing and got on a plane and met with Andy Reid. They wanted warm weather of Arizona. San Diego was also in the mix. But Clark was a legend and talked him into coming to KC.
Without Clark going all out... there's no Reid. No Brett Veach. No. No. No stonecoldjones94 No.
One butterfly 🦋 effect that changed the whole landscape.
And for our small efforts, a benefactor gave us Superbowl rings. Not really sure who... but it's nice to be gifts these and acknowledged.
