We skated up for Oaks On Ice (Eleana needed the reindeer skating aid ⛸️… Matt did not and still made us fall over 😅). Afterwards we wandered the Christmas markets eating our way around.

Kinder crepes with strawberries 🍫🍓
Mulled wine to warm us back up 🍷
They also had a giant Christmas tree you could walk inside, a Ferris wheel glowing next to it and festive decorations everywhere, proper winter wonderland vibes 🎄

Located in Stockport, The Royal Nawaab Pyramid serves South Asian cuisine buffet inspired by India and Pakistan. We were invited to the Christmas Light switch on, this was our first time visiting. The interior was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with grand décor, twinkling lights and their iconic 10ft teddy bear stealing the show.

Butter Chicken - Rich, creamy and full of warming spice. Proper comfort food 🥘
Plain Pilau Rice - Light, fluffy and the perfect pairing🍚
Channa Masala - Deep, spiced and hearty with chickpeas cooked to perfection🌿
Masala Chips - Crispy, tangy and dangerously addictive 🍟
Grilled Chicken Wings - Smoky, juicy and packed with flavour 🍗
Dessert:
Gulab Jamun - Soft, syrup-soaked and the perfect sweet finish 🍯
Overall review:
A great first visit, generous portions and bold flavours throughout. We’d heard such great things about Royal Nawaab, so we were so excited to finally see it for ourselves, and it did not disappoint.

Located in Alsager, The Vault is the perfect spot for a festive dinner with friends, family or a cosy date night. We were invited to the VIP launch of the Christmas menu, from décor to the full festive tasting, it really got us into the Christmas spirit 🎊

Located in Deansgate, Manchester, Flat Iron invited us down to experience their one off Carcass Club night, a full steak dinner for just £20 per person. Beef dripping popcorn nibbles to start, showcasing incredible steak cuts, the meal did not disappoint 🤤

Our favourites? The Peking Duck Pancakes were perfectly crispy and Eleana’s fave! The wagyu & truffle spring rolls were an instant yes for Matt. And the Asian pear sticky toffee pudding… unreal. All the flavours just worked so beautifully with the sake pairings.

Located on Charles Street, Manchester, One Plus is the perfect spot for a fun and flavour packed dinner. We were invited to try their Chinese charcoal BBQ and it’s such a unique experience! Each table has its own grill, so you get to cook your meats exactly how you like them, from smoky and tender to perfectly charred 🍢

Located inside Treehouse Hotel, Pip is the perfect spot for a cozy dinner. We’d heard amazing things about the chef so we were so excited to finally visit and try this menu and it did not disappoint! 🕯️🥮

- The first ever 2D restaurant in the UK! Such a fun spot, everything is hand drawn by the owner 🖊️

- We got to try a classic Manchester Tart! Hard to find these days but absolutely delicious 🥧💛
