Just need this heatwave to be over so I can actually record something and then figure out how to mastering! At least I know how this thing works now. More or less. 16 year old me would have had everything figured out in 3 mins flat without even reading the instructions. 40 year old me is swearing under my breath while squinting at the size 3 font on the leaflet that came with it trying to find out where the the instructions are that tell me how to switch the bloody thing on and dreading learning to edit.
It's a weird thing being in front of the camera when you're so used to being behind it. Funnily, for someone who is an actor, I actually hate seeing myself in photos, but these came out gorge. This one's my 'Broadchurch / Dr Foster' face. The kind of woman who has secrets, is smarter than she lets on, and probably irons her socks.

5. Used to be an artist. Then a graphic designer. Now (finally) an actor
6. Often get told I look like Judy Garland (don’t see it myself but deeply flattered as I‘be been a fan all my life)
7. I firmly believe there is so much good in the world and you don’t have to look too far to find it either - and strongly feel that the news should have more balance with positive news stories
8. I also believe there are very few things that cannot be improved by adding cheese
9. When I was little I wanted to be Anne Miller. Mainly for the outfits and ability to tapdance. Now I’m Katharine Miller (after my great grandma). I still can’t tapdance.
