The colour palette you see here is the same one I had in mind while making my last painting. The colours were the same, and if you look at the pastel shades here, this is exactly what I had envisioned back then. I spent so many days trying to come up with the perfect colour palette, making a few mock-ups in my journal, but I just couldn’t get the colours right. The ones I used were nice too, but this is exactly what I had planned at the time.
Today, I had a little free time on my hands and wanted to paint one of my colouring sheets. I didn’t think too much about it. I didn’t spend hours mixing colours or making small mock-ups in my journal. I just went ahead and painted it. It felt so impromptu, which is rarely my style, but really, really good. For a couple of hours, I was simply enjoying the process.
So, I guess I just wanted to come here and say that sometimes spontaneous decisions can bring out the heart’s work. ♥️
