プロ野球選手を引退してから約1年半。
このたび、オンラインで選手の競技人生をサポートする育成サービス「GrowthPath」を立ち上げました。
私は、プロ野球という舞台に立ったからこそ、強く伝えたいことがあります。それは、「プロの選手になることが競技人生の成功だ」という考えが確かに事実である一方で、
それだけが全てではないということです。
本当に大切なことは、競技を通してどんな経験をし、
何を学び、どのように自分を成長させるかということです。
結果が出ないとき。
怪我が続くとき。
思うように成長を感じられないとき。
そんな苦しい時期に私を支えてくれたのは、
「寄り添ってくれる人の存在」「努力する意味」「整った環境」
でした。
勝ち負けを超えて、人生に大きな影響を与えてくれるものがそこにはありました。
「GrowthPath」は、
トレーニング・栄養・睡眠・メンタルの4本柱を
専門家チームとともに徹底して整え、
選手の「土台づくり」をサポートします。
目的はただ一つ。
選手一人ひとりが、自分らしく輝きながら
成長し続けられること。
もちろん、技術を磨くことはとても大切です。
でも、それだけでは乗り越えられない壁が、
必ず立ちはだかります。
そんなとき、「正しい知識」「整った環境」「支えてくれる人」がいるかどうかが、選手の未来を大きく左右します。
今、スポーツを取り巻く環境は大きく変わってきています。
部活動の地域移行、指導者不足、情報格差、
都心部での練習場所の確保など課題は多くあり、
だからこそ、私は“選手が安心して挑戦できる場所”が
作りたかった。
それが「GrowthPath」に込めた想いです。
「もっと上を目指したい」
「どうすれば今より良くなれるかわからない」
「親として、どう支えてあげればいいか悩んでいる」
そんな悩みを抱える選手・保護者の皆さん・年齢を重ねて
なおスポーツを本気で頑張りたい方々へ。

2024年は実業団でコーチをさせてもらったり、16カ国32都市まわったり今までやってみたかったことをひたすら経験する年にしました！
2025年は自分がやりたいことが決まったので、野球を初めた時のように泥臭く地道に頑張りたいと思ってます！
今年も残り少ないですがよいお年をー！
現役時代より体重は6キロ落ちてます！10球ぐらいで全身の筋肉がパンパンになりました、、、笑現役で毎日頑張ってる選手たちは改めて凄いなと思いました！
いろいろな勉強をさせてもらったり、新たな出会いと再会もあり素晴らしい時間になりました！
スポーツの魅力を再確認しました。今回は野球とアメフトを見れなかったのでまたシーズンが始まったら見に行きたいと思います！
今回の旅は鈴木優夫妻にとてもお世話になりました！優、ありがとう！
