As a Yellowstone guide, it takes a lot for me to get excited about the classic compositions that everyone has of Yellowstone Falls… On this day, however, the dance of color, texture, and light that the snowstorm created was nothing short of inspiring. There’s something about the scene that reminds me of the ethereal light that was immortalized by the famous painters of the West, Thomas Moran and Albert Bierstadt.
