This year more than ever, I’m trying to change/rewire my brain in my relationship to the story I tell myself bc of the story of how I got out here.
The very short version of how I ended up here is that I went to an all girls Christian rehab for 8 months here in CA. Bc of my religious upbringing, I believed there was something fundamentally wrong with me after experiencing trauma from SA, along with residue of family dysfunctional patterns & ingrained beliefs that altered true self…
Essentially I was led to believe I would be forever damaged UNLESS I went and got “help” (the all Christian girls rehab)
It has taken me SO many years to unfold and continue to unlearn the ways I was raised and still trying to heal ✨ Going to share in a carousel soon❤️
