A NICU birth story I was not ready for BUT GOD. My angels were born at 36 weeks💛 One of my babies came home with me… and the other stayed in the NICU for 6 days.💔 Hard asf. Scary as hell. Nothing prepares you for leaving the hospital with one car seat full and the other one empty 💔
But God… He carried my babies when I couldn’t be in two places at once 🙏🏽✨
If you’re a NICU parent, I see you. The guilt, the back-and-forth, the frustration of not being able to physically go up there while swollen and in pain from my C-section, the praying, the sitting beside a tiny bed wishing you could switch places — it’s a strength you don’t understand until you’re living it 🤍
Both of my twins are home now — healthy, loud, healing me every single day 👶🏽👶🏽💕
