I just posted a few recommendations on my blog linked in bio, specially some cream blushes I have been enjoying lately, and also some close-up pics of their Year of the Snake Lunar New Year brush. 🐍🐍🐍
I hope you are having a wonderful and peaceful weekend! ❤️❤️❤️

There are so many kabukis to display and they are all precious, they remind me of the very beginning of my Fude journey, my blog and my friends as we were all so obsessed with them!
I have a small office; therefore, we have to find solutions that don't take up too much space, we are optimizing each little corner! It's a fun process! 😅
We may probably create a more custom solution one day, but for the moment we are installing some thin shelves on the wall, these shelves are partially inserted into the wall since we didn't need that much insulation here (this is an inside wall).
I am very much looking forward to the readiness of this kabuki corner!!! 🎉🎉🎉
By the way, my husband is writing some articles for the blog about topics that are related to the artisans and manufacturing. We are both very much looking forward to it and we hope you will love them!
We wish you an amazing weekend!!
With love ❤️❤️❤️

I usually post my favourites on my blog before the event starts, but I couldn't do it this time. I still would love to mention just a few of the products that truly stand out to me!
Obviously the By Terry Tea to Tan Sun powders, I love this formula (see my previous Insta post)! The Hourglass Unreal blushes are a must, their Ambient palettes -the product is beautiful, and they printed lotus flowers on one case… I am completely obsessed! 🪷🪷🪷
Been using the Danessa Myricks Dew It Flirty palette almost daily, thank you for showing and recommending this one to me, I hope it's in stock when I write this!!!
Not sure the Chantecaille Bay shadow is still available but if it is, or if you find it anywhere, run for it! How it blends, and the lasting power, it's insane for a shadow, this little mono is like a precious treasure to me, when I want something reliable, this is undoubtedly #1.
I love highlighters and now that we are moving towards the festive season, I am pushing the glow with the liquid Surratt Lamé! It stays put and glistens like diamond powder! Gorgeous!
I purchased the Hindash Gradient highlighters as soon as they launched, I love how impactful, yet translucent they are. They have sparkles but they don’t scare me as I use them when I want THAT kind of glow. Similar highlighters have a more metallic thick base and I don’t enjoy that, but these Hindash are beautiful!!!
Charlotte Tilbury Exagger-eyes Mascara has been recommended to me by several friends and I am loving it, such a good one.
I will post some reviews and posts in the upcoming weeks as I cannot go into detail here and I miss the blog so much, I really need to find more time to write!
With love ❤️❤️❤️

I am light-medium with neutral undertones, I was more drawn to shade 3 as it looked more neutral than the other 2 lighter shades, but I was advised to get shade 2.
I bought 1, 2 and 3, I didn't need to, but that type of formula felt so good that I thought, one for winter, one deeper for summer, and another just because I was too curious at that point! 😅
I don't always do that, but when trying or designing brushes, it helps to have several shades of the same product in order to test the strength and behaviour of the brushes more accurately.
So, after a few months in use, the one that is best suited for me for an all-over application is the shade 2, I also use shade 3 for a deeper sculpted application.
They last well, they are smoothing and extremely comfortable, they don't look or feel like a powder at all. I think this is truly one of the best formulas available and deserves more love and reviews, with the variety of bronzers available today I believe that it stands out amongst the best.
I made unrealistically heavy swatches for you, under different lights if that helps at all.
I don't know if I am the only one who struggled to decide which shade to get! do you own it?
From left to right, shade 1 Fair Bronze, 2 Medium Bronze, 3 Tan Bronze
I wish you a wonderful weekend!!! 🎉🎉🎉
With love, ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

"Rouge Sellier" and "Or Permabrass" were at the top of my wishlist! Rouge sellier is my favorite colour from Hermes, and I love champagne gold pencils, so I jumped on these two first. I also added "Marron Glacé" and "Beige Trompe l'Oeil".
The first time I used these eye pencils, I thought they had some kind of coating on them and that once the coating was gone, they would apply more smoothly, but they don't.
Rouge Sellier is indeed a very beautiful color, mixed with Marron Glacé on the eyes, they look very good. However, no lasting power, not easy to blend and very hard (not compatible with my sensitive eyes in the sense that they are too hard, but so far all good and no skin reactions to report at all).
"Rouge Sellier" is the softest and most pigmented of the bunch but fades unevenly, "Marron Glacé" also faded unevenly and I don't find it very pigmented neither upon first swatch nor after the application is complete.
"Or Permabrass" is impossible to get enough pigmentation out of it and when I manage, it quickly disappears.
If you are looking for a great alternative but more on the creamy side, check out Victoria Beckham pencils, they are stunning. VB Gold Lamé has a faint base color, however, it adds an absolutely gorgeous, elegant load of gold sparkles that we can precisely place and that don't fly everywhere!)
Also check out the By Terry Blackstar range, or the Danessa Myricks pencils, just to mention a couple!
The Hermes eye pencils are Made In Germany. On my swatches, from top to bottom: lip Beige Tan, eye Rouge Sellier, Marron Glacé, Or Permabrass, Beige Trompe l'Oeil.
The lip pencil is softer than the eye pencils. "Beige Tan" is ok to redesign the outline of my lips, but had I been able to swatch them in person, I would have taken a slightly pinker shade. Also, had I been able to test the lasting power prior to purchasing, I would have skipped it.
So, check them in person if you can, just to make sure these will work out for you! 😊

I struggle with extremely dry skin, depending on the weather, the water and other factors, every day is different. It's not only "dry skin" actually, my dermatologist says my issues today are also the result of having had eczema when I was a child.
I never even thought that one day I would be able to wear foundation but thankfully, some foundations are truly comfortable on very dry skin! ✨
If you have dry skin and are looking for a comfortable foundation, please consider the ones below, try them or read more reviews about them to see how they could match your needs too.
I also enjoy others occasionally, but these 4 foundations are my main ones. By the way, if you have dry skin and can recommend others to me, please do let me know! 😊🎉
🔸Hourglass Hydrating Skin Tint Veil - I use shades 5 and 7, both adapt to my light-medium neutral skintone. This Skin Tint literally looks like skin, it lasts, it's really a fantastic product and works any day - even when my skin is feeling very uncomfortable.
🔸Natasha Denona Face Glow Foundation - I use shade 40, when my skin is having a bad day, this foundation does not catch at all on dry patches or texture.
🔸Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint - I use shade 5 Medium on the entire face and 13 Deep for sculpting. A beautiful foundation (in stick format) for dry skin. I don't usually love sticks as blending this type of formula can require more friction and cause more irritation, but no issues at all with this one! So comfortable!
🔸Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation - I use shades 113 and 123, also a great foundation although I tend to reach for the others more.
For the moment, I am using Chantecaille La Crème Riche Anti-Age +, it's made in Switzerland, and they say: "it moisturizes dry skin shielding it from harsh environmental factors such as wind and freezing temperatures". Well, it works for me, and this means a lot! 😅😂

So, now that I finally received all the storage pieces that I needed, I am back to my brush and make-up reorganization project! I cannot wait to share all the fun with you! 🎉🎉🎉
It has been exciting trying to find new ways to reorganize my small office and I had to do it over and over again. It wasn't working. It was taking me too much time to reach for something I needed, and I need easy and quick access to everything. Now it's looking better, it's working better.
Although my system is pretty simple, I have fun furniture pieces and I am sure you will find little tips and tricks that may help you too!
The first drawer that I was eager to organize it's the one with the Rae Morris brushes, I have a second one with more of her brushes, but this is the first one that I had to sort out.
As you know, her brushes have magnets at the bottom (or inside the ferrule if you have the older ones), so I taped one metal plate against the side of the drawer in order to keep these brushes separated and visible, and it is critical that I can see them easily!
There will be a main post on my blog soon just about the furniture that I used, and about storage tips and tricks -I will list all the details of the items I feature so that you have them for reference and ideas. And if you wish, on Instagram, I will show you the drawers one by one... 🖌️🖌️🖌️
In the meantime, I wish you a wonderful weekend!
Lots of love,
Sonia

I wanted to share a little update on the storage topic! All the furniture is finally here, and now we are installing and testing 🎉🎉🎉
I am happy to have a cosy little room where I have my office, my vanity, all my brushes, make-up and also my accessories - we need to optimise each little inch of this room because it is quite small but needs to store quite a lot and be comfortable. I will show you pics and a detailed video as soon as everything is installed.
The big challenge was to find a new storage solution for all the brushes that were inside the drawers under my desk - as I don't have all those cool deep drawers anymore!
Some of you would like to know if I organise the brushes by brand or by function, or if I just store them like a cutlery drawer 😅 I think I have too many to store them by function, so by function is not an option at this stage but I will show you each drawer and if you love brushes, I think this will be really fun!
Today I am doing some storage tests with the MAC brushes, I found I could add a second layer to the drawer using lids of the Ikea Kuggis boxes as they fit perfectly and they will help me optimise all the space available.
This drawer has all my Mac brushes, some are probably collector pieces today! I remember many years ago when I was looking for Mac brushes that I could not find in Switzerland, I would use Makeupalley to source them, or order them in the USA and have someone pick them up for me. It was so tricky to get my hands on them!
I was happily using MAC brushes until my skin became even more sensitive, some were too rough so I started looking for softer alternatives, and then I found Kumano and everything escalated so so quickly! 😁
I remember using the MAC 134 for bronzer all the time, the MAC 116 for blush - such a lovely small shape. The MAC 165 was consistently one of the softest they were making so I loved it so much! I I also recall the MAC 226 being such a loved hard brush to get my hands on!
Were you playing around with brushes when MAC still had natural brushes, are you still using them? ❤️❤️❤️

I almost received all the new furniture and once it's all here, I will be moving all the contents around.
At the end all the brushes have to fit -comfortably - and I need to be able to store each brush in a way that I can find it instantly. This is quite a challenge, but I found fun storage solutions and they might surprise you!
I will take you along with me, take pics as I am playing with storage, and once I have the final furniture all here I will make a video. It may help you if you are looking for storage solutions! My office is small and I really need to optimize each little corner! ✨
I hope you are having an amazing weekend!!! 🌞🌙
