Piran, or Pirano in Italian, a little piece of Italy on the Istrian coast. 🇸🇮
Venetian architecture, a beautiful harbour, long lunches, vineyards and the unmistakable flavours of the Adriatic.
Piran feels like a place where Italy and the Mediterranean meet.

Chef Roberta Voghera from Agriturismo Carlincarlota, just outside Neive, shared the traditional art of making Tajarin, the iconic handmade pasta of the Langhe. Made with an incredible 30 egg yolks to every kilogram of flour, it’s renowned for its rich golden colour and unforgettable flavour.
After the demonstration we all gathered around a long table to enjoy lunch with the locals and even the Mayor of Neive.

The in the San Frediano district of Florence, has been creating precious textiles since 1786.
Discover more about the talented artisans, the history of silk weaving in Florence and the sumptuous fabrics, weaved on 18th and 19th century looms in this Florentine cultural treasure.
Also a short video of Leonardo Da Vinci's warper machine, designed in 1485, at the heart of this historic silk mill.
