The inspiration for my segment came from the Nier series, especially Nier: Automata. I absolutely love the location design in Nier, and when I opened the artbook, I immediately knew I wanted to create something inspired by those landscapes.
Designing the buildings and combining them into a composition was probably my favorite part — it was really fun! Since I work in low-poly, I had to convey the worn-down look of the structures using textures and simple shapes. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I hope you’ll like it too!
