Ci sono auto importanti… e poi ci sono auto che hanno scritto la storia.
Essere invitato da SUPERSPRINT a Mantova per assistere alla realizzazione di uno scarico completamente su misura per una Ferrari 275 GTB del 1964 è stata una di quelle esperienze che difficilmente dimenticherò.
Entrare in azienda, vedere da vicino il livello delle lavorazioni, la cura quasi maniacale dei dettagli e soprattutto la passione che c’è dietro ogni singolo componente, mi ha ricordato ancora una volta quanto l’artigianalità italiana sia ancora un punto di riferimento nel mondo.
Un enorme grazie a tutto il team SUPERSPRINT per l’ospitalità incredibile, la disponibilità e per avermi aperto le porte di una realtà che per chi ama i motori ha qualcosa di magico.

35 years later, complete rebuild projects of the S70 motor and total car restorations are becoming more popular, on both sides of the pond.

This BMW M3 E46 arrived at GSP Motorsport with engine faults, exhaust leaks and emissions values high enough to fail inspection. ⚠️
After diagnosing the issue, we completely refreshed the exhaust manifold setup using Supersprint CLS-spec headers with a larger diameter design than OEM, combined with:
🔧 New lambda sensors
🔧 New exhaust gaskets
🔧 Upgraded manifold studs
🔧 Copper nuts throughout the installation
The original setup showed clear signs of heat damage, worn hardware and exhaust leakage. Exactly the kind of problems that eventually create drivability issues, fault codes and failed emissions tests on the S54 platform.
Every component was installed and sealed correctly to restore reliability, eliminate leaks and ensure long-term durability. 💪🏻
