My lovely, talented, amazing friend & his friend made these super rad Paint can openers called “Kan Keys” obviously if you’re a painter you use can openers all the time. But imagine one that not only is super cool looking, but you can pop on your keychain & is the size of a key. So rad and so kind of him to make me one of my very own. This is a 16ft box sign (which previously had a very old plexi sign). Once we removed it, we restored the sign box and gave it a new paint job.
From there we went to town lettering the new sheet! After installing new lights & it getting installed - she’s a brand new sign! Really happy with the outcome!

This was a restoration job for this train from 1804 here in California from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The history behind this train is amazing and was a honor for me to paint as I made the same trip from the same area only 219 years later.

Our goal was to replicate the exact sleigh from the original movie… So it was a lot of play and pause to really see the design on the sleigh. Thank you to
for trusting me and my painters in executing the final touches of this masterpiece that they technically built and fabricated.
We ended up doing two of these as one gets destroyed for a crash scene and the other is the main sleigh featured throughout the movie.

The movie business can be very exciting and rewarding. But you really need thick skin to come out on top. The series kind of gives you a taste of that from another perspective. We created nearly 600 hand painted signs from all shapes and sizes - it was super fun and challenging - seeing the artwork you created on tv is a really great feeling!
The Offer is a 1960s-70s period piece. All hand-painted signage. I was the Sign Writing Supervisor and was able to hire 5 full time sign writers on deck, which is not the norm in paint/construction. For a huge majority of period features/shows it’s very easy to print vinyl signs and make it look old. Given this was a 60s era show & vinyl printers didn’t exist… we made sure everything was hand painted. Thankfully we worked with a very dedicated art department & construction team that also wanted to capture the authenticity of every detail put into this series. Definitely would say this show was rewarding. After each episode there are some behind the scenes interviews that touch on different areas of the making for the series. Def take a look and see what they have to say!
