We (10 people) have been detained at the Mahendra Police Club. No word on when we will be let go, or what will happen to us; depends on "orders from above". The policepeople in duty here have been good to us. We have been allowed to use our phones, given dry snacks, and water. It is essential to direct our rage at the right place and for the right thing. The police acted on orders from 'above'. The lives of our most vulnerable loved ones has been put at risk because of the Government's incompetence in tackling the Covid-19 crisis. We will be doomed if they do not set things right immediately.
