There was a time when my biggest responsibility was simply being someone’s daughter, protected, comfortable, loved, living a soft “princess” life where I never truly understood how hard survival could be. Then one day, life changed completely. I left my home, my people, my comfort zone, and moved to a completely new country and city where I was nobody just another stranger trying to survive.

I still remember not even knowing how to find my way back home using a map. Learning how to catch buses alone, understanding technology, navigating university life, studying both on-campus and off-campus, managing work, stress, loneliness everything that looked so “normal” to others felt terrifying to me at first.

There were days I had no home to feel emotionally safe in, no financial comfort, no luxury, no family beside me. Just tuition fees in my pocket and a dream in my heart. I started from zero. Small kitchen helping-hand jobs, saving every little amount possible, silently struggling while trying to continue my education and build a future nobody could see except me and Allah.

But in the middle of all that fear and loneliness, the University of Newcastle College of International Education became more than just a university to me. It became a place where I finally felt heard, seen, supported, respected, and important. The teachers, the care, the warmth, the equal treatment they helped me believe that maybe I truly belonged here too.

Today, I look back at the girl who arrived scared, lost, overwhelmed, and emotionally broken and I wish she could see this moment. Because she survived. She kept going.

Pre-Master’s completed in December as a Business student 🤍✨

And now only two trimesters stand between me and my Master’s degree, In Sha Allah. Soon, I will become the first female in my entire family to achieve a Master’s degree.

This achievement is not just about education.
It is about sacrifice. Survival. Growth. Faith.
It is about a girl leaving behind comfort and becoming strong enough to build a life from absolutely nothing.

One year of being yours 02.05.25 💍
I found a kind of peace in you that I didn’t even know my soul was searching for.
All the things I wandered the world looking for somehow led me quietly back to you. My sister once told me the universe speaks in signs and maybe you were always mine, written gently into my path. I just didn’t know it yet.

There was something magnetic about you something that pulled me closer before I could even understand what I was feeling. And somewhere between those moments, you became my home.

Thank you for healing a heart you never broke.
Thank you for standing beside me, even when it meant standing against the world.
Thank you for loving me in a way that never asked me to become someone else, but instead held me softly in all that I already am even in my flaws, even in my chaos.

I know loving me isn’t always easy. I challenge you, I push you, not to change who you are, but to grow into everything you’re capable of becoming. And you… you always try. You rise, you evolve, you love me louder in the ways that matter and it makes me fall for you more, every single day.

You turned a girl who once feared commitment into someone who feels safe enough to stay. Loving you was never difficult it felt like remembering something my heart always knew.

You reached the quiet, fragile parts of me, the ones I kept hidden, the ones that needed gentleness the most. You healed my inner child, and you protect her in ways words could never fully hold.

And in you, I didn’t just find love
I found peace, safety, and a forever I never thought I’d believe in 🤍✨

Tannery industry is a leading export-oriented sector in Bangladesh, earning a significant amount of foreign currency which contributes to our national economy. Leather processing units generate a large volume of waste of varying nature, most of the tanneries of Bangladesh were located at Hazaribagh in Dhaka city where disposal of waste made the surrounding area of Hazaribagh unlivable, still leather is one of the most durable materials out there. Necessary steps should be taken to minimize tonnes of this resource intensive material end up in the landfill everyday. Hence, upcycling can be a solve.

Upcycling leather is the reuse and repurposing of discarded leather offcuts and scraps to create products of higher value than the originals. upcycling helps to support the development of a circular economy, helping to reduce manufacturing costs and preserve precious environmental resources.
So basically I collected these leather leftovers from Hazaribagh Tannery and upcycled it making something unique which is quite stylish and cool.

There’s no feeling in the world quite like the mixture of triumph and emotions that comes after finishing a project you’ve been working on for months or even years, While submitting it to the faculty it feels like sending your kids off to college. Patting myself on back, yes I made it. 🙌🏻

Theme: Deconstructive fashion ~ reusing plastics materials

I've potraited here deconstructionsim using used plastic sheet, straw, poli bags as dress material which have harmful empact on environment as these don't decompose in water and soil even after thousands years will passed.
I've done the photoshoot in a garbage dump, where thousands of used poli bag and plastic bottles are thrown on daily basis...

Plastic bags can be reused or used for different purposes and it's necessary to think about how they can be reused before disposing of them. Using plastic in fashion fields would be a good option of recycling.
