川崎市のあじさい寺である妙楽寺の紫陽花が見頃になりました。昨年より1週間程度早い印象です。

境内には、約20種類・約1000株ものあじさいが植えられているとのこと。ひとつひとつの紫陽花がそれぞれの物語を語るようで、この神聖な空間に静謐で幻想的な雰囲気を添えていますね。

I took a photo of the scenery at Ōnogame on Sado Island. Ōnogame, a monolithic rock rising 167 meters above sea level and jutting out into the ocean, is home to a colony of 500,000 clumps—or 1 million stems—of Tobishima kanzo (a lily-like flower), with yellow blossoms spreading out across the entire area. What a beautiful sight!
