Why buy when you can rent? We’ve partnered with the peer-to-peer rental app to offer new limited edition pieces and some of our Uniform Collection as rental pieces. We have added a FOR RENT link to the pieces in our collection that are available as rental items, but there are some brand new special one of a kind pieces that you can only get on Wardrobe. Have you been eyeing this style but are not sure whether it will fit right? We get it, oversized ONE SIZE items can be tricky… we have one of these in organic cotton chambray available for rent, so why not give it a try?

More sheep! This week’s #meetthemill is, a small-batch mill based in Washington that features a retail store, stitch lounge, wool tincture dye bar, and fiber lab.
Abundant Earth Fiber exclusively uses non-superwash wool and favors local Pacific Northwest breeds such as Targhee, Rambouillet, Shetland, Huacaya (alpaca), German Angora (rabbit), and Angora (goat). The company also hosts a weekly podcast titled “Modern Wool”, as well as handspinning, knitting, wool tincture dye, and needle felting classes offered weekly.
Happy sheep to relieve a little of the added stress we are likely all feeling! This week #featuredfiber is one of the oldest fibers used by mankind: WOOL

Wool has been used for more than 10,000 years by humans for warmth, comfort, and cover, and remains a staple in any person’s wardrobe to this day. The versatility of wool has stood the test of time, even with all of the new fibers being created in the past few decades. When purchasing wool, it’s important to note the source of the wool, the transparency of the supply chain, and whether or not it is mulesing-free or recycled wool to achieve the least environmental impact. The International Wool Textile Organization is pushing for increased sustainability in many ways, one being their recycling of post-consumer wool, which is also thanks in part to the durability of the wool fiber.
We love US #climatebeneficialwool developed by to check all the above boxes and we would love to hear your thoughts on this fiber. Or you an just enjoy these adorable sheep.
This week’s #meetthemill is based right here in the USA using hemp in new, innovative ways. Learn all about hemp on their website and see the different solutions they’ve found for this bi-product of the CBD industry.
One of those products is hemp black ink, an alternative to conventional petroleum based black pigments. “Hemp Black Ink is a solution for environmentally innovative printing. By replacing carbon black with our bio-based Hemp Black carbon, we eliminate petroleum and potentially dangerous fumes, protecting our water and our workers. Conductivity is possible depending upon the end use. With a matte black finish and the ability to be applied to porous and non-porous substrates, Hemp Black Ink is a sustainable and innovative solution for printing.”

Our brand spotlight this week is a Swedish denim brand aiming to reduce chemical waste from the garment production process. Nudie Jeans makes a point to only work with suppliers with approved wastewater systems, as well as requiring all Nudie Jeans suppliers to sign and follow their code of conduct including the Restricted Substance List (RSL).
We say yay to that!
