I see it as an opportunity to talk a slightly different language to the lower sections of a Victorian home…
My Harringay house project is still one of my favourites (added a couple of before shots to see how far we came!)

1 of 4 colour kitchens I designed for an office in Banbury in collaboration with the wonderful.
The custom doors and end panels are made from pigmented Ash — the colour softly highlights the beautiful wood grain of this European tree 🪵.
The floor is a rustic cork which echoes the patina of the stoneware crockery specially sourced for these self-serve team kitchens.

I specified over 80 fabrics and finishes for the beautiful new London showroom creating a sensory journey through this huge space.
Demonstrating the power of colour to create a variety of moods within a working environment the scheme uses pops of colour that gently reveal themselves, framed by an earthy-toned base palette.
I particularly love this pastel-hued corner where walls, curtains, upholstery and table finishes combine to create a relaxed breakout space.

One of my favourite and most complex parts of the renovation is the pull-out kitchen unit I converted from a sideboard.
Designed originally as part of a group show curated by - the chrome frame was hand sanded and waxed into a brushed steel finish to complement my industrial interior scheme. The modular system of USM panels has been utilised to create draws, extending work surfaces and a custom cubby hole for the gas canister, enabling the kitchen to be used inside and outside the van. I sourced a maritime hob from and teamed it with a gloriously green Japanese kettle from.
The unit was expertly fitted onto industrial draw slides that defy gravity allowing for a fully cantilever exterior slide-out by the wonderful team at 🖤.
I can’t wait to get frying up in a remote campsite again soon! 🍳

Love returning to this office and the lovely people who work there! My hand-painted cork murals and cork floors are holding up well 🖤
I worked alongside interior architects and the Orangebox creative team to create a bold yet serene new London home for this iconic British contract furniture brand.
I was commissioned to develop the new Materials Workshop housed within the showroom alongside the finishes specifications on over 200 items of furniture within the main showroom area and ground floor lobby.
The Materials Workshop houses a new fabric curation concept I developed as part of my ongoing work refreshing the Orangebox materials palette. 200 fabrics from a variety of manufacturers are held in bespoke card devices that are displayed in a colour spectrum to facilitate easier and more inspiring specifying experience for visiting clients. Alongside the fabrics are dedicated zones housing tabling samples and leg profiles, 3D pod models and a high tech video streaming camera to capture talks and document completed client finishes selections. A fully bespoke storage system has also been designed to house the vast collection of finishes swatches within the cabinetry.

A full year of planning went into the interior of my van! I travelled all around the UK using the original 1980’s interior to figure out what I liked and used and what was missing or wasn’t practical…
I also collected exactly what camping equipment I absolutely wanted, with a view to creating spaces specifically for them.
I designed a new L-shaped storage unit with a mix of cupboards, draws and sliding doors to house everything I’d accrued, giving careful consideration to how and when I needed to access it.
There’s a wardrobe with a hanging rail + my favourite element, a bedside shelf recess at the rear of the van, set at the perfect height for when the bed is made.
In the front kitchen area, a deep cutlery draw and 3 storage draws allow for easy access to everything I need for cooking.
The side unit houses a pull out kitchen I designed using (more on that in my next post)
A top-loading fridge I found in a Marine suppliers was much bigger than the original front loading one and sits in the corner which otherwise would have been dead space.
The worktop and shelf nearest the side door can be removed to make a seat.
Again I worked with the amazing team at who meticulously brought my plans to life in what is the most complex space I’ve ever worked with - the walls and roof are multi-faceted in every direction!
Special thanks to Joe who really went the extra mile on the detailing!
The unit is fabricated using bespoke Ash-veneered poplar plywood (which is extra lightweight). The door and cupboard fronts are microcemented. The worktops are fabricated from stainless steel.
