Focused on process and the search for alternative modes of exhibiting, the website gave the students the possibility to reappropriate their spatial sensibilities in a time of proxy interactions, screen-mediated relationships, and lack of materiality. The alumni had individual access to the physical stage in order to setup their work, following a collective script which organised the space while leaving room for unexpected configurations set in motion by minimal chain reactions.

“Architects After Architecture: Alternative Pathways to Practice” tells the stories of forty practitioners who stretched the boundaries of their discipline either from the inside (PLUS), or who went BEYOND them, in order to apply their skills in other fields. Twenty-six themes further articulate the case studies selected for the book, as a way to map the territory of architecture beyond its professional horizon.
