《Initiation point:1mm tattoo》《UTSU:SHIKI》二つのシリーズより出展。
1mm tattooの始まりは2021年、絵とは何か問う中で“人間の身体は最初のキャンバスであった”というアントニー・ゴームリ―の言葉をきっかけに、タトゥーを制作手法に取り入れた。地球を移動する数千人の身体を支持体に、1mmの点のタトゥーを“極小の絵”として施す。それは反復することで、超多様化社会における個人の在り方と、自然現象としての普遍的な人が交錯する。都市を中心に共通文脈が消失した現代において、最小限の表象は知覚を最大化し、時間と個別の物語が圧縮される依代となる。天体観測のように、距離や関係性のなかで変化する中空なる像や間は、本質が入れ替え可能な器だ。
SHIKIは、1mm tattooが内包する“うつ”の概念から派生した習作。
“現(うつつ)にして空(うつ)なる弱く脆い像が別の像へと移ろい、ほかの像を映す”という田中純の言葉をきっかけに、和紙の原料・楮によってアノニマスな人の姿を描いた。巫女がこさえた人形に映るのは式神ではない見

今日の依代的な森山邸で、Jensの破片を忍ばせて、呪いと祝いの間を揺れ動くような抑揚のなかで、肉を忘れたそれは光を浴びて動き出す。
