Since launching our Accredited Hostel Scheme we have trained 237 hostel staff members across the country, and this number continues to grow. Our goal is to empower hostel teams to feel prepared, confident and safe when welcoming pets on site.
Alongside expert training we provide hostels with educational resources like posters to put up around the building highlighting things like common pet toxins and guides on understanding dog and cat body language.
Education is absolutely key to keeping people and their pets together in stable accommodation. If you work in supported housing and want to learn more about becoming pet-inclusive, please get in touch today by emailing 🏡🐾
Mork, Mindy and their owner have all recently moved into independent living accommodation which is fantastic news! However, the change means Mork and Mindy are now having to stay at home alone occasionally and are experiencing a little separation anxiety. Our volunteer vets provided their owner with some calming spray to help them settle into their new environment.
Also a very warm welcome to our brand new StreetVet Bournemouth volunteer vet Keshia who did an amazing job. We also helped several other owners with eligibility advice and microchip details. Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible! 💙
