I found out that Sugar Beach (formerly known as Jalousie ) is free to go to!
If you have any idea about the struggle that locals have with beaches that are inaccessible because resorts choose to build on them then you know this is HUGE!
Here are the details on how to get there!
You drive or take a taxi to the resort. At the gate they let you know if there are parking spots inside the resort, if not you have to park outside.
They also have a shuttle bus that costs $5 Ec per person that can take you down to the beach and back.
You can make the hike down if you don't want to pay for the shuttle but your girl didn't feel like hiking back and forth with a little kid lol!
There's a guy on a boat who makes really good cocktails, be sure to check him out while you're there!
You can also book reservations for lunch or dinner with restaurants!
There are speedboat rides that you can book there! If any of you guys know their insta please tag them!
We actually came to sugar beach twice and I will be sure to come back when I'm home!
I loved staying until sunset 🌅 because if you didn't know I'm a sucker for sunrises and sunsets.
The sunset at sugar beach easily one of my top 5 sunsets!

My daughter had asked for a tattoo for her 19th birthday last year and I just thought it was too expensive for a small butterfly!
That was until I spoke to a friend who said the price for a tattoo is very reasonable in stlucia!
My daughter researched places and found ( I think I said the name wrong in the voiceover 🤦🏾♀️😩)
We found the place rather easily and they had a special going on! The prices are extremely reasonable and I was impressed at how careful the guy was with cleanliness and how well he did the tattoo!
When we come back to stlucia we will definitely be back because my daughter wants more stuff done I'm sure lol!
