This journey was by far the best decision I have made in my life outside of my wife and twins. The question was asked when I started “What does it mean to come to Duke Divinity School for you?” And I remember answering it by saying this was me “loving God with all my mind”. This moment has been so surreal that I still find it hard to believe that it even happened.
To sum this up in one word would be GRATEFUL. God chose a little boy who had parents that gave him and his siblings what they could and we never missed a beat. This journey has been one of triumph, resilience and perseverance. God, you really did your good work and I am thankful. Duke Divinity School has changed me for the best and shown me that there is more in me than what I thought of myself.
Thank you Duke for these last four years. Now time to gear up for the next ride, doctorate starting in August. God help me master it! ✌🏽🙌🏾

This hair vision started in 2011 when I got my cosmetology license in high school. I started working for myself doing hair in a salon in 2015. So, I created my hair business name over 7+ years ago..
“The Hair Cashlete” means (doing hair is my hobby and earning cash is a sport to me) in less words I’m the hair athlete lol idk it made perfect sense at the time.
Fast forward, my thought process then and now are totally different. My brand is no longer just a hobby, it’s grown into a legit professional business. I’ve outgrown “The Hair Cashlete” personally and professionally over the years. Now I’m ready to take this up a notch with everything I’ve learned and re-brand myself. Going forward my business name will be recognized as “Luxury Links by Tiffany”.
