I’m often asked how my pieces come to life, so here’s a little glimpse into the making of “King Lemon”
It all starts with old pine scaffolding boards, which I carefully select, sand and paint. Then, using a hands-on photo transfer technique what does the magic trick. Each tile is assembled by hand and glued together to form the full piece. To finish it off, I pour multiple layers of epoxy, creating a sleek, glass-like or ceramic surface that brings the whole work together
