My post about the little yellow house on the coast blew up yesterday, so I spent today hunting down the best affordable places to stay on the Amalfi Coast and turned them into one big guide 🍋
Comment BUDGET AMALFI and I’ll send it to you.
Inside you’ll find 33 gorgeous places to stay, with double rooms from just €75 a night.
I’ve included:
• Only properties with reviews of 8/10 or higher
• Accommodation for solo travellers, couples, families and groups
• Peak and low season prices so you know what to expect
• The pros and cons of each town, including how hilly they are, how many steps to expect and whether you really need a car
• My favourite alternatives to staying in Positano
The Amalfi Coast doesn’t have to cost a fortune, if your smart with your hotel bookings you can dramatically reduce the cost of your trip!
I’d rather save money on accommodation and spend it on pasta lunches, Aperol Spritzes and wandering through the little boutiques instead 😂

I know this is going to get booked out now, but it’s too good not to share! Details are below, comment ‘YELLOW HOUSE’ and I’ll send you the direct link.
Conca Dei Marini is a tiny little seaside town on the Amalfi coast which truly is a hidden gem. Walk 700 steps down to reach it and you’re rewarded with a hidden beach, three restaurants and a slice of peace & quiet.
I paid £68 per night in May & the apartment sleeps 2. Prices remain pretty low during peak months, around £50 per person per night. There are two apartments, so if you’re with your family you can rent both.
From the beach, hop in a boat that will take you to Amalfi town and Positano for under €10 each way (you get the WhatsApp of the boat driver and let him know when you want to return!)These boat rides take you along some beautifully scenic parts of the coast, past views that you would pay hundreds of euro for a private boat trip – and it was just me on the boat so the driver gave me a guided tour 🫶🏻
Availability is tight for this Airbnb! But it’s my go-to spot to chill out and not spend a ton of money on the Amalfi Coast.
I have a full guide to Amalfi Coast on my blog, link is in my bio. Pop over if you want to know how to spend your time there. And if you want any more budget accommodation recommendations then just drop a comment below because they are my favourite things to find 👀

If you haven’t heard about them, they’re like the opposite of triggers. They’re happy moments in your day that make you feel calm, joyful, and content. They remind you that life is really lovely, even on a very ‘ordinary’ day 🫶🏻 But our heads are usually in our phones or we’re thinking too much, and moving too fast to notice them.
But ever since I learned about them, I’ve started noticing them everywhere
This morning wasn’t extraordinary compared to some of the places and experiences I usually share. It was just a walk into the village from our house, buying fruit at the market, and an espresso and cake at my favourite café.
But taking a second to notice those little moments has made me appreciate them so much more. Instead of rushing through the day, I slow down and appreciate it. I’ve done this morning 100 times and today in a way felt like the first
So here’s a little reminder to look out for your own glimmers today, and slow down a little bit ❤️

Comment ‘APARTMENT’ and I’ll send you the link along with a Google maps list of all my favourite things to do & places to eat nearby. Follow for more Italian gems
If Positano is out of your budget, add Polignano a Mare to your list instead. Think Amalfi Coast views, but with the charm of an old fishing village and without the ultra high-end price tag. And pugliese food, which is just out of this world 👌🏼
This apartment completely transformed our time here! Polignano a Mare is famous for its beaches & coves, delicious orecchiette dishes, and iconic grottos. But it’s *busy* in summer. Staying here allowed us to take in the most famous sight in the area, Lama Monachile, without battling any crowds.
Enjoy the beautiful view from steps away from your bed, and walk down in the morning before it gets too busy. It’s right in the town, so we had restaurants & bars on our doorstep. Pricing is seasonal but it’s around €100 per person in summer.
Here’s some detail about Polignano a Mare to help you plan your trip!
📍Where is it?
East Coast Italy, in Puglia. The closest airport is Bari & there’s a direct train from the airport
• Time needed: 2–3 days
• Budget: Around €200 per person per day if you eat out, stay somewhere nice & try local cocktail bars. Less if you want to try local places to eat.
Worth doing: • Swim at Lama Monachile • Get lost & shop in the old town • Do a boat tour to the sea caves dotted along the coast
• Eat at • Book for a special occasion
• If you stay longer, you can take day trips to Ostuni, Alberobello, Monopoli and Locorotundo
If you want more cute Italians towns or budget friendly gorgeous stays then let me know as I have a lot 👀

What to do in Polignano a Mare, Polignano a Mare restaurants
Türkiye was one of those places for me!
The sunrise over Cappadocia. The streets of Istanbul. Eating endless amount of delicious food. Cruising between two continents. Learning about the culture & history. It was one of those trips that stayed with me long after I got home.
So… we’re going back.
This September, I’ll be taking another small group to experience everything you see in this reel, and so much more.
7 days, 14 women, two cities and two continents. Rooftop meals, guided tours, hot air balloons, lantern making, shopping at bazaars, a sunset yacht with a little wine in hand, and so so so much more.
If Türkiye has been sitting on your travel wishlist, I’d love for you to join me! 🇹🇷
Comment “TRIP” and I’ll send you the itinerary.

Our house has turned into an office, restaurant, coffee shop, bar and construction site while we prepared to launch our app
We’ve tried to create as many nice moments in our day as possible, between 10+ hours sat in front of laptops and phone testing and getting things ready. And somehow decided to start doing up our bedroom at the same time.
Sometimes you have to just lock in and reap the rewards later! And seeing that number 1 spot on the App Store on launch day, and how much you all love Storied too has been the highlight of the week 📚❤️
Now I’ve got to take Tim for gluten free pizza to celebrate!🫶🏻

Comment ‘ISTANBUL’ and I’ll send my Google Maps list with all of these places pinned 📍
I’m running a girls group trip to Istanbul & Cappadocia this September! If you want to see all these places with me and meet an incredible group of women, comment ‘TOUR’ for the itinerary & booking link ❤️
I could absolutely do another one of these videos with more things to see, so let me know if you want more recs in Istanbul! There is just so much to do 🇹🇷
If you’re going to Türkiye, I filmed a video the day I got there with everything you need to know about visas, cheaper entry fees for sights, and avoiding the crazy fees there 🫶🏻 I’ve linked it in the video if you missed it!

We managed to fit a *lot* into January! 😅 my sleep score will never recover!
The Bali chapter has finished, and I’m ready for what’s next. Already I’m feeling lighter, happier, and more excited for 2026!! Bangkok is one of my favourite cities, and Thailand has always been the country in SEA that felt most like home ❤️
I’m looking forward to seeing more of the city, showing you the best bits - and convincing you that you need to visit 👀👀👀 get ready to book some flights 😂😂

And it is so freaking cool!
Watch the real to see the details, and the price! If you do go on this crawl, I recommend doing it in the opposite order than we did – starting in oh, Joe at sunset and working your way down through the bars to parlour. It was only after we finished that we realised we should’ve done things this way!
In terms of the bars I would rate the highest, the vibe, the views, the drinks the snacks are all amazing!
was probably my favourite for a date night. It has such a chilled out and relaxed vibe. I wanted to stay all night chatting and drinking whiskey cocktails.
Double standard Bar is more low key and best for catching up with a few friends. It’s super casual and a place you could chill out with a group.
The Parlour is described as a social hub, and it’s again a casual cocktail vibe. It would be a good place to meet friends or grab a drink with a date.
Tickets cost 1980 thai baht (currency conversions are in the reel). Make sure you buy your tickets directly from the Standard hotel website, or they’ll cost more on third-party websites. This is a common thing in Bangkok, there are a lot of third-party ticket sellers that charge a big mark up for tickets to most events and occasions – something to be careful of when you’re in the city!
Save this post and try this pub crawl when you’re in the city! Honestly, it’s such good value that I doubt it will be around for too long. Tag me if you go and let me know what you thought!

I’m Steph & I’m married to the lovely for the past 6 years - and we have spent most of that time travelling the world 🌍
We met at work and always wanted to quit our jobs and go backpacking - so we saved for a couple of years, quit our jobs, sold our stuff, and in 2016 hopped on a one-way flight to Bangkok!✈️
2016-2017 we spent a full year backpacking around Asia, seeing everything we could. I think we stopped for a maximum of like 3 nights in that time 😂😅
2017 we left SEA for Oz, to build back up our savings on working holiday visas. We got jobs & a little flat and stayed in Melbourne for a year - but the settled life wasn’t for us 🏚
In 2018 we left for Bali ✈️ with a goal to start working online so that we could travel full time & keep earning. We started freelancing & I started working on a blog which changed my life ❤️
2018-2019 we had the most incredible year living in Bali, while hopping on flights to travel around Asia ✈️ We fostered a dog, and met the most awesome people 👯 My instagram account grew, and so did my blog - so I was working online and loving it so much!!
In 2019 we decided to leave Bali and backpack around Asia for another 6 months. But the night before we were due to move out we hit a bit of a bump.
We were driving home & we were hit by a motorbike. Tim ended up with some injuries and needed surgery, which unfortunately meant we lost all of our money due to the cost. (We had insurance, long story)
So instead of backpacking, we headed back to ireland for a few months, with no money, a concussion, and a little PTSD (thank you therapy for helping with that!)
For the rest of 2019 we worked hard to build back up our savings, and ourselves - and then headed back to SEA! ✈️✈️
We were feeling like ourselves again, and started out on another backpacking trip - our first stop was Vietnam, in January 2020…when a mysterious flu-like illness started spreading through the country..🙃
*I’ve run out of space - stay tuned for tomorrow’s post where I’ll fill you in on what’s happened since & how one Google search changed our path completely!
