So stelle ich mir eine gute Zoo-Alternative vor.
Gefüttert werden dürfen die Makaken übrigens nur vom Käfig aus. Hier muss der Mensch in den Käfig, die Affen bleiben frei. Wenn man nicht füttern will, kann man ganz ohne Gitter frei fotografieren. Durch den Abstand beim Füttern ist das Verhältnis Affe - Mensch hier erstaunlich entspannt. Respektvoller Abstand und trotzdem genügend Nähe für tolle Fotos. Ich mag diesen Ort daher in vielerlei Hinsicht und kann Arashiyama nur empfehlen.

Verwendet habe ich das Lumix S100-500mm. Perfekte Brennweite für solche Aufnahmen.

Mir ist aufgefallen, das man als Portraitfotograf einfach überall fotografieren kann. Überall findet sich eine schöne Location und man kann aus fast jedem Licht etwas machen.
Das sieht in der Landschaftsfotografie komplett anders aus.
