One thing I am not scared of is wallpaper! This Daily Prophet wallpaper by was the first I ever hung in my home, and it definitely encouraged my wallpaper journey!
This is my half bath, which I color drenched (ceiling, walls, trim, doors) in Blackout by Behr. If you want a solid, pitch black color, that’s the one!
The wallpaper is also fantastic. Yes, it’s pricey per roll (this one is on sale on ) but the quality is fantastic and easily applied with paste.
I accented with Ministry of Magic memos, and naturally, inside my toilet I have the “Ministry of Magic this way ⬇️” sticker. I also have the Daily Prophet Tea Towels from that make the perfect hand towels!

A day I look forward to more than others, but ironically, dread most of all. Being a part of a community this big is nothing short of amazing, but for someone like me with social anxiety, large gatherings like the one for Back to Hogwarts can be really overwhelming. Because of that, I tend to stick to the outskirts and I participate from a distance, just to keep my mental headspace clear.
I didn’t make it to the platform today to board the train, but that’s okay. I wasn’t in group photos or videos, and that’s okay too.
No one’s day has to look a certain way in order to enjoy Back to Hogwarts. Whether you were celebrating at the parks, at another event, or at home, celebrating is celebrating.
For those I did get to see and speak with this weekend, I’m so thankful for those moments. And for those who were SO kind to my son, I appreciate each of you.

Giving my sanctuary a permanent place on my feed because I’m still obsessed with this space. Creating the Gryffindor Common Room has always been the idea, but execution took a while. I wanted it to be screen accurate, and I was adamant about having the tapestry as the focus point. When I finally found the wallpaper on Etsy, the dream started to unfold and now here it is, complete, and an absolute dream!
