Frederick Harris Elementary School hosted its annual Harris Carnival on Thursday after school, bringing students and families together for an afternoon full of fun and community spirit! Indian Orchard Elementary School celebrated its 41st Annual Arbor Day Ceremony with a special tree planting and dedication event!

Students, staff, and community leaders gathered to honor the importance of trees, nature, and environmental stewardship. Congressman Richard Neal and City Forester Alexander Sherman joined the celebration as second grade students shared the significance of Arbor Day and read a poem for attendees.
Kindergarten and first grade students also took part in the festivities, proudly wearing their Arbor Day-themed attire. A wonderful day of learning, community, and celebrating the environment at Indian Orchard Elementary!
Frederick Harris Elementary School's most recent PBIS event was a hit!

Students at Harris Schools who were Safe, Responsible, Respectful, and Kind all month were able to gather and create their own self-portraits with a variety of fun materials like feather, gems, and yarn! Students and teachers alike had a great time!
Due to the heat advisory issued, schools will be dismissed early on Tuesday, May 19th. Stay cool and be safe! After school activities are canceled.
